Security Guard Training Los Angeles

This program will provide comprehensive knowledge and skills needed to be able to perform the basic occupational duties as pertaining to a Private Security Guard.

Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be able to comply with the Power to Arrest Examination hiring requirement, and perform the duties of an entry level Private Security Guard.

Students receive training for all permits including Guard Card, Firearm, Tear Gas/Chemical Agents, Baton, Handcuffs, AB 2880, and First Aid/CPR.

This job offers lots of flexibility in terms of shift hours and variety in places of employment. Since 9/11 there has been a rapidly increasing demand for security officers in schools, airports, hospitals, university campuses, department stores, clubs, malls, banks, factories, government buildings, data processing centers, and military bases.

Getting into this field will also allow you to build a life-long career by opening up opportunities in other branches such as private security, investigative security, border security patrol, and loss prevention.
